A new pizzeria is taking over the former home of Antonio’s in Westerville

A new eatery is replacing the longtime home of Antonio’s Pizzeria.

According to m signage on the building, Red Bank Pizza & Cafe is taking over the Westerville storefront that formerly housed Antonio’s Pizzeria, which closed this summer.

Red Bank Pizza is located at 7001 Sunbury Rd.

It’s currently unclear when the new eatery will open, but signage on the building says the new concept is “coming soon.”

Located on the western shore of the Hoover Reservoir, multiple other businesses nearby and immediately next door to the former Antonio’s space share a name with the new pizzeria, including Red Bank Barbershop and Red Bank Food & Beverage and Bait. The name Red Bank refers Red Bank Road, a county road that cross a portion of the reservoir. It’s unclear if the business share an owner.

According to a social media post from Antonio’s owner Rita Pavuk in late September (despite internet rumors), she did not sell Antonio’s recipes to the owner of Red bank. In fact, Antonio’s plan to reopen inside of Westerville Campfire Brewing soon.
