According to Yelp, this Columbus eatery has the best seafood in Ohio

While you might think that one of the Ohio cities along Lake Erie offers the Buckeye State’s best seafood, according to a new list from Yelp, it’s right here in Columbus.

This year’s list of the bess seafood in each state from Yelp named Kai’s Crab Boil as Ohio’s top spot.

Part of a decade-old restaurant group specializing in Cajun boils across New Mexico and Texas, it allows diners to choose what goes in their bag: There are three kinds of crab, two kinds of mussels, shrimp, and lobster tails by the pound. (You can also order a house combination with a pre-selected mix of popular options.) “The seafood is fresh and the flavors delish,” according to fans. Add some Lemon Pepper sauce — or the secret-recipe Crackin’ sauce, with a choice of three heat levels — for a “finger-licking good” meal.

Kai’s Crab Boil, which is located at 839 Bethel Rd., first opened in 2018.
