After 12 years, this Downtown nightlife spot is closing


When the month of March comes to an end, so too will the original that location of 16-Bit Arcade + Bar.
Earlier today, Rise Brands announced that it will close the Downtown 16-Bit Arcade + Bar space on March 30. It’s located at 254 S. 4th St.
“Closing this location is very bittersweet for us,” said Troy Allen, Founder and CEO. or Rise Brands in a press release. “ 16-Bit started everything for Rise Brands, and it’s had a huge impact on our rapid growth throughout the years. We’re beyond grateful for the years of support from our guests, our community and the incredible team members who helped make 16-Bit a special place. While this location is closing, 16-Bit’s energy isn’t going anywhere.”

The 16-Bit locations in Bridge Park and Indianapolis will remain open, and the Easton Pins Mechanical Co. offers free classic arcade games as well.
Rise Brands will be hosting a “Final Round” at the Downtown 16-Bit on March 28, from 4 p.m.-2:30 a.m., which will feature giveaways and drink specials.
