After catching fire last year, popular chicken wings restaurant announces reopening this year

We have some good news for Donkey Sauce aficionados.

The Roosters location at 3370 Olentangy River Rd. caught fire in July of 2024, forcing them to close. Roosters initially thought they’d only be closed for a little bit, but plans changed.

They announced this week on Facebook that they’d finally be reopening their Olentangy River Rd. location this fall!

“Your support means the world to us and we want to open the store just as fast as everyone else does!” they said on Facebook.

Fortunately, the wing chain boasts more than a dozen other Columbus-area locations if you can’t wait until this fall to get your fix.
