After Del Taco closed their Circleville location about two years ago, only two locations remained in Ohio – in Marion and Whitehall.

But now, they’re back with a brand new location, in another Columbus-area suburb. Del Taco is officially open in the former White Castle at 8787 Owenfield Dr., in the Powell area.

Del Taco is, of course, known for fast-casual tacos and epic “loaded” burritos, but unlike their competitor Taco Bell, they also offer cheeseburgers, loaded fries, seafood options, and milkshakes. The first Del Taco opened back in 1964 in Yermo, California.

This location is open from 7 a.m. until 4 a.m., not only offering breakfasts, but late-night favorites. For added convenience, this location also has a drive-thru.

“We’re thrilled to be part of the Powell community and Greater Columbus area,” said Kayla Hutton, local operating partner. “From our craveable tacos to late-night bites and everything in between, this location is all about serving up bold flavors with fresh ingredients. With our Fresh Flex Design and popular seasonal seafood specials, we’re ready to become Powell’s new go-to spot for a great meal, any time of day.”
