“Since the rumor mill has been working overtime…I want to finally say it out loud,” said Chef Josh Dalton, the heralded chef and owner of a popular restaurant that closed just last month.

“Rosebud’s is officially coming back,” he continued.

Dalton, who owns Veritas and Speck, closed Rosebud’s, located in Delaware at 15 E. Winter St. The “bougie dive bar” served delicious, elevated American fare, such as cheeseburgers, fried chicken sandwiches, oysters, and craft cocktails, and the Central Ohio community was understandably very bummed when it closed.

“I never planned on leaving,” Dalton said in the announcement. “We just had to work through a few things behind the scenes. And now that we have…we’re ready.” He announced that while he’ll still be helping with menu development, he’s handing the wheel over to his experienced team.

A reopening date has yet to be announced, but stay tuned on social media!
