Nearly a decade after opening in Clintonville, Hot Chicken Takeover has closed its doors.

According to a social media post made today, the eatery’s Clintonville restaurant, which is located at  4302 N. High St., has shuttered. The exact date it closed is unclear.

“From our first day to our last, you made us feel like family. We’re so grateful for every meal shared and memory made,” the post reads. “Closing this shop was a tough call, but it’s part of a bigger plan to keep growing the right way: with heart, intention, and the kind of hospitality HCT is known for.”
