After financial woes, 15 year old Columbus bar announces plans for closure
In September, a mainstay Old North bar posted on Facebook that things weren’t looking great for them financially, “for some time.”
Bossy Grrl’s Pin Up Joint said on Facebook, “With patrons drinking less and product costing more, we just can’t make ends meet anymore.”
After fundraising via Venmo and GoFundMe, Bossy Grrl announced last week that their last day in business will be on December 13th.

“Thanks to everyone who donated time, money, or love along the way — your support gave us the breathing room to make this decision carefully and ensured our staff and performers had time to make other arrangements. We are endlessly grateful,” the 15 year old bar said in their announcement.
Until then, “…let’s go out in style and party till we lock the doors! Come raise a glass, sing your heart out, and celebrate what we built together — loud, proud, and full of love!” they said.
