After months-long closure, this popular German Village-area eatery has reopened

Over the summer, a popular German Village-area eatery quietly closed its doors for a remodel. And now, it’s once again open for business.

According to a social media post from the eatery, Mid City Garage re-opened yesterday. The restaurant, which is known for pizza, cocktails, and a retro-Americana interior, is located at 1179 Jaeger St.

“Start your engines, German Village!  We are reopening on Thursday, November 20th at 4pm! After a pit stop, Mid City Garage is rolling back into the neighborhood with a brand new menu featuring thin crust pies, killer subs, fresh salads, and full bar vibes right here in the heart of German Village. Same oldskool soul. New flavor under the hood,” the post reads.

The eatery is open 4 p.m.-12 a.m. Thursday-Saturday, and is closed the rest of the week.
