After more than a decade of business, Bexley restaurant appears to have quietly closed

There’s been speculation that a popular spot for hummus and falafel has closed.

Cafe Istanbul, located at 2455 E. Main St. in Bexley since 2011, has had their doors locked for the past week. Their phones have also been unanswered, their website is down, and their online ordering via DoorDash says “temporarily closed.”

Employees at both their Dublin and Easton locations told 614Now the restaurant closed, but they were unsure why.
