After nearly a decade, this Grandview-area restaurant is closing its doors

In just over a week, a Grandview-area eatery of eight years will close its doors.

Yesterday, Watershed Distillery announced that its in-house restaurant, Watershed Kitchen + Bar, will close for good on Nov. 8. The move is being made, according to Watershed, as a way to allow the brand to “fully focus its resources and energy on its core distilling business.” The distillery also cited economic challenges that have left the eatery “unable to continue operations” as a reason for the closure.

According to the distillery’s announcement, the space will reopen in 2026 as an event venue.

“Watershed Kitchen + Bar  has been part of the soul of Watershed since 2017, and the people who made it great have poured their hearts into every dish, cocktail and guest experience, we’ve made together,” said Chuy Ostos, chief marketing Officer of Marussia Beverages USA, Watershed’s parent company, in a press release.. “We’re deeply proud of what this team has built, and it’s with sadness that we must close this chapter. Our focus now is to grow the distillery and continue to share the Watershed story in new ways that connect people through our spirits and an exciting new approach to using this venue.”

Watershed Distillery and Watershed Kitchen + Bar are located at 1145 Chesapeake Ave.
