After opening last month, international brunch spot announces closure of new location

Although it just opened to the public on March 20, Maison Skali, the eatery with French and North African roots, is closing its doors for good.
“We’ve officially closed our Hilliard location. While it was part of our journey, we’ve always wanted a space that truly reflects the heart and feel of Maison Skalli,” the concept said in a social media post yesterday.

The eatery was located at 3078 Fishinger Blvd. It’s unclear what caused the closure, but the concept’s original storefront, which is located at 2746 Festival Lane in Dublin, remains open.
While this might mean the abrupt end of Maison Skali in Hilliard–which was known for offering a variety of unique and indulgent baked goods boasting both French and Moroccan flare–according to the eatery’s statement, another new location is “on the way,” although it’s unclear where this will be located or when it plans to open.
