After recent closure, this New Orleans-inspired eatery announces return

In less than a year, both Way Down Yonder and its sister concept, Way Down Yonder Beignets & Coffee, have closed their doors.

According to a social media post, however, both eateries are planning a new, jointly-operated storefront in the near future.

“Two brands. One location. One mission, to keep building, no matter the barriers,” the post reads. “We don’t wait for permission, and we don’t stop at token support. We invite real partnership, lasting investment, and community power. Gate open or not, we’re moving forward. Cause what God has for us will always be for us!”

The post features photos of both Way Down Yonder and Way Down Yonder Beignets & Coffee, alongside the phrase “1 location 2 brands, New location coming soon,” although an address for the new new joint location, nor an opening date is shared.
