Dave Portnoy post reviews of THREE more Columbus pizzerias
The man behind One Bite Pizza Reviews has reviewed a trio of longstanding Columbus pizzerias.
Yesterday, Portnoy posted reviews of JT’s Pizza & Pub (which was Columbus’ most requested pizzeria for him to try on One Bite’s YouTube comments), Aracri Pizzeria and Plank’s Cafe.
At JT’s, Portnoy pointed out that “tavern style pizza is middle of the road” for him, but noted the eatery serves “good quality pizza,” and gave JT’s a 7.3.

He also visited a longtime Downtown institution, Aracri Pizzeria.
“Yes, I root for the Maize and Blue; yes I’m a Michigan man. The hospitality in Columbus has been through the roof. The people have been so nice.”
Portnoy referred to Aracri, which is New York Style, as “good football pizza,” and gave it a score of 7.2.
Yesterday night, he completed the single-day hat trick of Columbus review releases with a video rating Plank’s Cafe, which has been serving Columbus for nearly a century.
Portnoy raved about Plank’s atmosphere, saying it “would be [his] drinking hole” if he lived in Columbus, and that he “loved the place.”
He also pointed out Plank’s uniquely sweet crust and, while saying it’s likely “an acquired taste,” gave the pizza and atmosphere a combined score of 7.1.
