All-you-can-eat Korean buffet featuring ‘endless skewers’ announces opening date

While PJ’s Hot Pot has closed its doors, another Korean hotpot spot is taking its place.

According to a social media post, Erge Buffet, an all-you-can-eat spot serving Korean barbecue, hotpot and more, will be holding its soft opening Aug. 20-25. For the entirety of soft opening week, the new eatery will be offering 15 percent off wdiners’ bills.

It’s located at 6100 Sawmill Rd., in the former home of PJ’s Hot Pot, which closed earlier this year after originally opening in February of 2024. According to its social media accounts, while Erge offers hotpot and Korean barbecue like PJ’s, the new concept has thoroughly renovated the interior of its Sawmill Road storefront.

The full menu for the new concept isn’t yet available, but Erge promises “endless skewers, fresh hotpot and mouthwatering flavors.”
