‘America’s Best Bourbon Bar’ that serves New York-style pizzas announces Short North opening date

An award-winning pizzeria and bourbon bar known for extra cheesy Sicilian slices and top-shelf bourbon is making it’s way to the Arch City, and they gave 614now the scoop on their opening date.

Goodfellas Pizzeria boasts 10 other locations throughout Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, and even 2 in Cincinnati, but their first Columbus location is opening this summer at 608 N. High St. in the Short North. “We’re thrilled to bring Goodfellas to the area and can’t wait to share it with the community!” said Goodfella’s marketing team.

Their grand opening will be held on Friday, June 6.

The restaurant serves breadsticks the size of your arm, huge pies or pizza by the slice, crispy calzones, meatball subs, and of course, cannolis. Their website says they offer thousands of bourbons, and they were nominated as one of nation’s best bourbon bars in 2024 by The Bourbon Review. But if you’re a pizza & beer type, they also serve craft beer at all of their locations.
