Anticipated bakery specializing in vintage-inspired cakes & cream puffs announces opening date

Riley Harris has recently been making a name for herself throughout Central Ohio for her gorgeous custom, “vintage-inspired” cakes, often topped with witty sayings and gorgeous tiered icing, although she’s been making cupcakes, macarons, and other beautiful sweet treats since she was 13 years old. After Riley graduated high school, she studied at a premiere bakery under a world-renowned pastry chef in Notting Hill, London. What was once just a hobby for the young baker, turned into a passion – and now, has transformed into a business – she’s opening her first bakery and storefront in a couple of weeks.
Love Riley Cakes will be opening at 14 Dillmont Dr. in Columbus on February 1st, and she couldn’t be more excited to be opening her own bakery. “Watching this dream I’ve had for over 10 years come to life in real time is the biggest blessing I could ever ask for,” Riley said. After losing her job this January, she considered it a blessing in disguise. “If it wasn’t for that, I wouldn’t have taken this step forward,” Riley told 614Now. “This is what I want to do forever.”

The bakery will allow her to make even more cakes than she could in her own studio. She’ll still offer custom cakes, but also a variety of donuts, macarons, cookie sandwiches, cake pops, brownies, cream puffs, and so much more. “There will be a huge variety of desserts,” Riley said. Stay tuned, and follow along on the bakery’s Instagram, and place your custom cake order via email, hello@loverileycakes.com.
