Aptly named “The Clocktower Kitchen + Bar,” this new chef-driven restaurant, which just opened yesterday, August 21 at 101 S Chillicothe St. in Plain City, was born from a passion for community and cuisine by co-founders Benjamyn Greig, Shane Whitacre, and Chelsea Whitacre. The restaurant’s website explains that they all have decades of shared experience in hospitality, leadership, and event operations. Greig served as Director of Operations at High Bank Distilling Co., and the Whitacres own Chef’s Table Columbus, a local catering company.

They’re excited to create a space that encompasses a respect for the local food grown right here in Central Ohio.

The Clocktower offers a dynamic food & beverage program, focused on elevated, American cuisine made with as many local ingredients as possible. Starters include Poblano Cornbread, Burrata, Crispy Wings and more, and choose from entrees ranging from a Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich to Wild Mushroom Pasta with Steak Tips and even Fish & Chips.
