Award-winning Columbus liquor brand teaming up with local vineyard to open new location

A lauded Columbus spirits brand is branching out to a new location.

According to owner Joe Bidinger, Echo Spirits is teaming up with R&S Vineyards, to launch Echo Spirits on the Vine, which will serve as a unique new tasting room for the brand.

Echo Spirits on the Vine is located at 3510 Clark-Shaw Rd. in Powell.

According to Bidinger, Suresh Sharoff—who recently purchased Soine Vineyards and now operates the space as R&S Vineyards—will run the property’s winemaking operation, while Echo Spirits will be in charge of its attached tasting room.

“We will have a full liquor license, serving cocktails, beer, our canned cocktail line (Two Cats Fine Cocktails), as well as the wine from R&S Vineyards. We have a very large outdoor space,” Bidinger said. “There will be lots of live music, with sports and movies projected outside. We’ll be serviced by food trucks for now, but are eyeing a kitchen in the future.”

An exact opening hasn’t been determined, but Bidinger said the new concept will likely open in late April.
