Bar chain abruptly closes after four years in Arena District; no remaining Ohio locations

“We want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who visited us week after week, as well as our dedicated staff for their unwavering support,” said an Arena District spot known for fun “bucket” drinks and a lively atmosphere.
The live music bar and dueling piano bar, Howl at the Moon, announced yesterday that they closed on March 31 after four years of hosting the nightlife around Columbus. It appears this closure was abrupt, considering on March 25, they announced a lineup of their future events, such as a 2000s party on April 4th, a “Country or 80s” night on April 18th, and a Cinco de Mayo Weekend. They’ve now cancelled all of these events.

Howl at the Moon was located at 504 Park St., and there are no other Ohio locations remaining. The closest location would be in Indianapolis in case you still have a gift card. We’re interested to see what will move into that building next.
If you have an upcoming reservation or booked a party there, please contact columbusevents@howlatthemoon.com for information.
