A breakfast-focused restaurant here in Central Ohio known for fresh biscuits has officially closed their doors, and they’re not the only one.

Maple Street Biscuit Co., a sister company of Cracker Barrel’s, has announced the closure of 14 locations nationwide. The Powell location, which opened in March of 2024 at 9711 Sawmill Pkwy., Ste. A, is one of the restaurants that’s on the chopping block.

“We appreciate the continued patronage of the many guests who have dined with Maple Street at these 14 locations over recent years and thank our team members for their passionate dedication to Maple Street and their focus on delivering fantastic guest experiences day in and day out,” a spokesperson told Fast Company. “We hope our loyal guests will continue to dine with us at our many other Maple Street locations.”

There are two others still open in Central Ohio if you’d still like to get your biscuit fix: one in Worthington, and one near Polaris.
