The man who was once the face of FYR is no longer with the restaurant.

Celebrity chef Sebastian La Rocca, who was announced as FYR’s executive chef when the eatery opened in the fall of 2022, is no longer with the restaurant, according to a statement provided by a Hilton Downtown Columbus spokesperson.

“While we do not comment on employee personnel matters, what we can share is that Chef Sebastian is no longer working for the property,” the statement reads. “Over the past two and a half years, the hotel’s entire food and beverage team has played a significant role in making its mark on the city with the expansion of our unique dining options. FYR Short North’s menu will remain in place continuing to serve our guests and locals alike.”
