Central Ohio eatery makes Yelp list of the country’s 100 best sandwiches

A Bexley sandwich shop is among the nation’s best, according to an annual list from the restaurant review platform Yelp.

The new list from Yelp, titled Top 100 Sandwiches 2025, names Bexley’s Newfangled Kitchen as the nation’s 34th best sandwich shop. 

“We are so very grateful! We came in 34th in the nation! All we can say is thank you so much to our amazing customers for your continued support and love. We couldn’t do any of this without you,” the eatery wrote in a social media post.

Newfangled Kitchen, which is located at 2258 E. Main St., is well known for a number of hot sandwiches, including its line of Meatloaf Sandwiches.

One other restaurant represented the Buckeye State on the Yelp list. Express Deli, located in the Northeastern Ohio city of Brook Park, took the list’s number 14 spot.
