Central Ohio pizzeria announces closure until they find new location after property was sold to ‘foreigners’

In a now deleted Facebook post, a Central Ohio pizzeria with the slogan “Pizza is for Everybody” announced they’ll be moving in the next few weeks.

“The property we rent was sold to new owners (foreigners),” said Circles & Squares Pizza Co in their announcement, using a monster emoji, a thumbs down emoji, and the vomiting emoji right after the word ‘foreigner.’ “And we don’t agree on the way they do things and the things they are selling in the Drive-thru that are not good/healthy for our community.”

Circles & Squares, currently located in Newark and famous for New York-style and Detroit-style pizza, said that in 3 weeks, they’ll be closing down while searching for a new location, but their website says they’re already temporarily closed. 614Now tried reaching out via phone call, email, and Messenger, but we are still waiting for a response. 

“We have morals, and unfortunately the new owners do not…we choose family and community,” they said.
