A Korean fried chicken brand that started two decades ago in Annandale,Virginia, is finally making it’s way to Ohio.

Noori Chicken launched their franchise operations in Michigan back in 2020, and since then, they’ve been quickly expanding throughout the United States. According to their website, they’ll be open a Columbus location right at 1454 N. High St.

Noori Chicken is a popular spot in other cities for quick, to-go Korean chicken, as well as bibimbap, fried rice, and a variety of other noodle and chicken dishes. Some locations even offer Korean fired tofu! Sides include dumplings, egg rolls, onion rings, french fries, salad, and coleslaw. They feature Korean drinks like milkis, which are carbonated soft drinks infused with milk, and also boba milk teas with chewy tapioca balls.

They’re expected to open soon, but an exact date was not provided.
