Chick-fil-A opening in this Central Ohio suburb for first time ever

Another Columbus suburb is getting a new spot for fast casual fried chicken.

For the first time ever, Chick-fil-A will be joining Groveport. According to approved building permits, Chick-fil-A will be located at 4015 S. Hamilton Rd.! Technically, the address is “Columbus,” but it’s closer to Groveport than Columbus proper, right off Route 33.

While an opening date has yet to be announced, Chick-fil-A has confirmed the new restaurant.

The Groveport Facebook Group members seemed split on their excitement. Some residents are ecstatic, while others seemed concerned about the amount of traffic that a Chick-fil-A could bring to the area.
