Clintonville restaurant to close after 11 years
There will soon be one less spot for margaritas and unlimited chips & salsa in Clintonville.
Local Cantina announced their last day of service at 3126 N. High St. will be on December 31st, the last day of the year.
“It’s never easy to say goodbye, especially to a neighborhood that’s felt like home since day one. We opened our doors in November 2014, not knowing just how much this corner of Clintonville would come to mean to us,” their announcement says.

Local Cantina explained that their lease is coming to an end, and they saw this as an opportunity to close. They may find a new home in Clintonville in the future, says the announcement.
This isn’t the first Loca Cantina to close—in the past few years, the New Albany restaurant has closed, as well as the Short North location, the one in Gahanna, and their only location in Dayton.
The Clintonville building will soon be home to COVE Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Hospital.
