After 15 years, Columbus boutique announces closure

A quaint boutique for all things Ohio-themed isn’t renewing their lease next year.

Celebrate Local, located at Easton for the past 15 years, announced they’ll be closing as of February 28, as their lease comes to an end at 3951 Townsfair Way.

“More than 700 Ohio makers and small businesses have been part of our CL family since 2011—and we are endlessly grateful for your support that made this journey possible,” said Celebrate Local’s announcement via Facebook.

The store is known for everything that makes Ohio unique—think mugs with cardinals on them, plates outlined like the shape of the state, and pillows with Columbus’ coordinates.

The shop announced that they’re committed to exploring a new direction and will share updates.

Here are some good dates to stop by in the meantime until they close:

Jan 15–Feb 15: Customer Appreciation Month

Feb 15: Final retail day (closes at 6 PM)

Feb 16–18: Store closed

Feb 19–28: Store Fixture Sale (11 AM–6 PM)
