Coca-Cola opens new, $90 million, 60-acre Columbus campus
Even if Columbus can’t choose between Coke and Pepsi, it appears that Coke has chosen Columbus.
On May 14, the beverage giant Coca-Cola Consolidated launched a massive new Columbus campus, which includes a 400,000 square-foot warehouse and distribution facility, two 15,000 square-foot equipment maintenance buildings, a sales center, wellness clinic and even an experiential learning center to train employees.
The new Coke campus, which is located on Rohr Road and is part of the Rickenbacker Industrial Center, cost $90 million, according to a press release from the company.
