Coffee shop & cocktail bar transitioning to full service restaurant with smashburgers, burrata, & more

A local spot for coffees, pastries, and cocktails is shaking things up a bit.

Parable Cafe, the incredibly popular coffee-shop-by-day, cocktail-and-natural-wine-bar at night concept located at 149 S. High St., is now offering a full-service, elevated yet approachable, dining experience with thoughtfully sourced ingredients.

If you’ve been there before, you’re probably used to ordering drinks and snacks at the bar, but now, if you come for dinner (or a late lunch!), have a seat inside or out on the patio, and a server will take your order.

Parable’s new dinner menu features shareable plates like Bread + Butter made with Dan the Baker loaves, Tuna Tartare from fresh suppliers, and Burrata featuring confit sungold tomatoes, herb oil, pistachio, and toasted sourdough. Larger portions include a Peri Peri Roast Chicken Leg and a Smashburger, and even an Olive Burger with a delicious olive tapenade and melted swiss cheese on your choice of a single or double beef patty. If you’re keeping it light, try the Caesar Radicchio with a side of fries.

Their revamped cocktail menu keeps the summer spirit in mind, with Kiwi Coladas, Red Pepper Palomas, and even an Everything but the Bagel martini. Ask your server about their natural wine offerings, too! They go with just about everything on this new menu.

Grab your friends and check out Parable’s new concept this weekend! They offer this new menu Wednesday through Sunday, 3pm-9pm.
