Columbus bakery offering Skyline Chili-filled Coney Dog Kolaches

First Skyline Chili finds its way into a Graeter’s ice cream flavor, and now it’s ended up inside a Columbus kolache.

On Wednesday, specialty bakery Kolache Republic (kolaches are sweet or savory stuffed pastries from Eastern Europe) announced the release of a limited-time Coney dog-inspired kolache, complete with Skyline Chili and a portion of a hot dog.

“Just in time for the big game, we’re bringing you a Skyline Coney Dog Kolache—a winning combo you didn’t know you needed,” a post made to Kolache Republic Instagram page reads. “…this handheld bite of Cincinnati-meets-Texas goodness is the ultimate game-day treat!”

The new item, which will on be available until the end of the week, features hot dogs from Falters Fine Meats.

Kolache Republic is located at 702 S. High St., in the Brewery District.
