Columbus donut shop introduces gourmet version of Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes

While it goes without question that the Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes are one of the greatest seasonal treats of all time, can you imagine if they were made by a gourmet donut shop instead of mass-produced in a factory?

Now you don’t have to imagine.

The new Clintonville spot Rose Dough Donuts, which is located at 3375 N. High St., has unveiled a gourmet version of the popular treat list, just in time for the start of the holiday season.

According to owner Katie Passo, the recreation of the popular holiday treat is in line with Rose Dough’s tradition of putting her own personal spin on nostalgic Christmas treats every year.

 “I also love that I can re-create them in my own way using our brioche dough, really good white chocolate, scratch vanilla whipped cream and naturally-colored sprinkles,” she said.

Rose Dough’s new seasonal donut is available for both preorder and walk-in customers.
