Columbus’ first women’s sports bar could be coming

“Women’s sports are having a moment and we are ready to turn it into a movement!” said Raise the Bar’s Instagram post.
Raise the Bar could be the new, and only, hotspot to view women’s sports in town. There were only six women’s sports bars in the United States before 2025.
“Our mission is to create a vibrant, inclusive space where fans of all backgrounds can gather to watch their favorite women’s teams while enjoying locally sourced food and drinks. By capitalizing on the surging popularity of women’s sports and the vibrant Columbus sports culture, RTB aims to redefine the sports bar experience into a community of connection,” said Give Butter, the fundraising website.

Amy Cooper, a local Columbus firefighter, is currently fundraising for the bar. Currently, she hosts watch parties at other bars like Rumours and Land Grant, but she’s still looking for a location of her own.
