Customer altercation leads to shooting in Columbus McDonalds

One man is in the hospital after being shot inside of a Columbus McDonald’s.

According to Columbus Police, the shooting occurred just after 4 p.m. on Feb. 12. It took place inside of the McDonald’s located at 1589 W. Broad St. in Franklinton.

The shooting occurred after a verbal altercation broke out between two customers, although it’s unclear exactly what led to the argument.

Following the incident, police found one individual on the scene with a gunshot wound. They were transported to Grant Medical Center.

The name of the victim has not yet been released, and at the time this story was published, police have not arrested anyone for the shooter. They did not release the name of any suspects.
