Dave Portnoy release review of popular Columbus-style pizzeria

Dave Portnoy’s pizza tour of Columbus continues.

Until yesterday evening, we believed there were four Columbus pizzerias set to be reviewed on his well-known YouTube series One Bite Pizza Reviews, including:

Bobby Jo’s Pizza: No score yet
Iacano’s Pizza: No score yet
Plank’s Cafe: No score yet
The Pizza House: 7.4

But then, there was Grandad’s Pizza & Pub.

Portnoy visited one of the local pizzeria’s three locations (he appears to have stopped by the eatery located at 1490 Bethel Rd.), and posted the review on his YouTube channel yesterday evening.

The score? A respectable 7.1, just slightly below the 7.4 mark he gave to The Pizza House last week. Both scores feel a touch more impressive, considering Portnoy doesn’t love Columbus-style pizza.

“Listen, it’s not my favorite style, everybody know that. But I do like it. I can always eat it; it’s a good, easy-eating pizza,” he said of Grandad’s.
