Dave Portnoy visits two more classic local pizzerias, raves about Columbus suburb
While Dave Portnoy, Barstool Sports and One Bite Pizza Reviews founder, may not have many good things to say about The Ohio State University as a University of Michigan alumnus, he does love Dublin.
During his recent visit to Columbus for the Buckeyes season kickoff, “El Pres” announced the following on X.

“I have nothing but nice things to say about Dublin Ohio,” he wrote on Aug. 28.
And speaking of Dublin, it appears he was in the Dublin area over the weekend to grab pizza. According to a photo from the long-standing Columbus pizzeria Iacano’s, Portnoy visited their Dublin location, likely for a review.
“I’ve been in the pizza industry for over 30 years, and I’ve never seen anything like it. The energy and excitement that Dave’s visit brought out in our customers and crew was truly remarkable. He’s a super nice guy, and we’re grateful he took the time to stop by Iacono’s Pizza in Dublin,” Iacano’s owner Trent Iacano said. He added the pizzeria is not yet aware of the score Portnoy gave them.
Additionally, according to a photo posted on the eatery’s Instagram, Portnoy also patronized Plank’s Cafe. He was pictured wearing a Plank’s shirt (which he was also wearing when he stopped by Iacano’s).
From his most recent Columbus trip, Portnoy has only released a review of Pizza House, but more reviews are likely on the way. Here are the spots we know he stopped by so far (there may be more):
