Following months-long closure, Westerville bakery set to reopen soon

Great Harvest Bread Co. is returning to Westerville.

According to a social media post, the owners of the popular bakery chain’s Upper Arlington location have purchased the Westerville store, and it will re-open on Nov. 11.

The Westerville store is located at 445 S. State St.

“Not only can you enjoy bread in the Upper Arlington area, but we also just bought the Great Harvest Bread Co. in Westerville, located at 445 S. State Street. It will re-open on November 11th, 2025.  We hope to see you there,” the post reads.

The Westerville location has endured its ups and downs over the last several years. In January of 2024, the store was temporarily closed after a burglary. It reopened the same month, but then the Westerville store quietly closed earlier this year.
