Fried chicken chain abruptly closes three Central Ohio locations; only one remaining

Looks like this hot chicken chain is on a cold streak.

Hot Chicken Takeover, which was a sensation here in Columbus when they opened over a decade ago, has abruptly closed three locations—one in Gahanna, and another in Grandview, and one in Westerville. This seems to be a pattern, for they also closed their Lewis Center, Gateway, and Clintonville locations earlier this year without a warning.

BROUGHT TO YOU BY

Their Westerville location’s last day is today, September 9th, according to employees. 

This means after today, the North Market location is the only Hot Chicken Takeover remaining.
