‘It is a difficult decision:’ After more than a decade, Central Ohio brewery goes up for sale

After opening in 2013, the future of Granville Brewing Co. is now up in the air.

In a lengthy social media post shared yesterday evening, the craft brewery announced that it is now for sale.

“The Granville Brewing Company, which started as a conversation over beers in 2011, has been an amazing journey filled with good friends, laughs, tears, and a lot of great beer. The brewery brought you all to the same place and you built an amazing community of people from all walks of life through conversation and beers. Simple, the post reads. “In respect to that community, Jay and Ross, along with our families have decided it is time for our tenure as owners of GBC to come to an end. With that, we have decided to offer The Granville Brewing Company up for sale.”

According to the post, more details will be provided soon. Granville Brewing Co. will remain open until they run out of beer to sell. 

The brewery and taproom are located at 5371 Columbus Rd. in Granville.
