Local Italian restaurant shutters after 15 years

“We miss you more than words can say,” said a local Italian restaurant, known for their made-from-scratch dishes.
After 15 years, The Warehouse Italian Dinners, located at 1003 US-23 N. in Delaware announced they’ve closed the restaurant. “This choice was made on principle, but that doesn’t make it any easier to say goodbye,” said their announcement on Facebook.
But The Warehouse Italian Dinners said this won’t be a forever goodbye – they’re looking forward to reopening somewhere in Delaware again, they said. And, they’re still offering bulk orders with delivery. Keep an eye out on their website to see what’s next for them.

Over a hundred comments were left on their Facebook post. One said, “I hope you will find a new location so we may continue to enjoy the wonderful food you’ve provided the last 15 years. My husband, family and friends were the first “party” to dine at The Warehouse for our rehearsal dinner. Everything was great then and continued to be through to present day. Thank you for serving us all these years and for being willing to help start our married lives on a positive note.”
“From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, thank you, thank you. Your kindness, friendship, and support will never be forgotten. We love and appreciate you more than we can express,” said Warehouse Italian Restaurant.
