Local sushi restaurant closes permanently after a decade

“It’s not an easy choice, but it’s the right time,” said this quaint sushi restaurant.

Sapporo Sushi Factory, located 732 N. State St. in Westerville, announced their permanent closure via Facebook. “We’re truly grateful for everyone who supported us, whether you stopped by once or were with us from the beginning. Thank you for being part of our story.”

The restaurant was known for their lovely sushi boats and peaceful decor. New management took over the restaurant in 2015, according to Facebook, and loyal customers were told that the owner retired.
