Local sweet shop featured on Yelp’s list of ‘Most Outrageous Milkshakes in US’ closing Clintonville shop; here’s where they’re opening next

You’ve probably had a banana split flavored milkshake. But have you ever had a banana split flavored milkshake with an other entire banana split as the topper?

Libby Lou’s Fun Factory’s extreme milkshake gained them a spot on Yelp’s list of “Most Outrageous Milkshakes” a couple years ago. Their Clintonville shop, located at 3039 Indianola Ave., which opened about five years ago, is now closed. 

But that doesn’t mean Libby Lou’s is coming to an end.

“We started moving into Bubbly Food Hall today!!! So exciting! More seating, clean fresh space, more parking!!!!” said the owner via Instagram. “While our prep area is smaller! We still have the same great menu but a much more accommodating space!!! So keep watching as we begin setting up and decorating while we wait for our inspection!!! “

Libby Lou’s new location at New Albany’s Bubby Hall, located at 6065 Central College Rd., will open in the former booth that once housed The Cheesecake Girl. Their website says they’re projected to open on March 1st.
