Locally-owned grocery store opening another location Downtown

The Downtown crowd will soon have other options for fresh meat and produce, without having to hop in their car.
Thanks to the Ground Floor Growth Initiative, which funds minority businesses to open Downtown, the popular hispanic grocery store called Toro Meat Market is moving into the ground floor of 150 E. Gay St. The supermarket already has four other popular, successful locations throughout Central Ohio, known for their fresh meat and rare cuts.

Toro Meat Market is hoping to open by this fall. The new space will be 11,000 square feet, with apartments located above.
