Multiple Columbus food trucks burglarized
The Buckeyes won, but a pair of Columbus food trucks lost after being burglarized over the weekend.
According to Galaxy Coffee co-owner Jevonna Morris, their truck—alongside the neighboring food truck Los Agavez Taqueria—were broken into between Saturday night and Sunday morning on North High Street.
“They stole our till and tip jar, and the money in both,” Morris said. “Thankfully no one was hurt and they don’t appear to have taken anything more than that.”

Morris said The Galaxy’s till is part of its POS system, and alone cost$300 to replace. A Los Agavez employee said the truck lost money, in addition to several knives.
The two trucks are typically parked just a block apart. The Galaxy Coffee at 3264 N. High St., and Los Agavez is located at 3166 N. High St., although the latter operates another truck in Grandview.
Columbus’ first queer-owned coffee truck didn’t let the burglary hold them back for long, as the spot was open for business at its regular High Street location later on Sunday.
