National food guide says this Columbus spot serves some of the best ramen in the United States

There’s a reason a line is always out the door at this ramen restaurant. Sure, it’s tiny, but it also serves some of the best ramen in the United States. And it’s not just me that’s saying that.

According to Lovefood, a national food guide that often names the “best of” in the United States, Meshikou Ramen serves not only the best ramen in Ohio, but some of the best in the nation. “If you’re not a ramen purist, then the offerings at Meshikou Ramen in Ohio’s capital might be for you,” they said. “The brothless Yuzu Soy Mazemen is a perfect pick, featuring noodles drizzled with a sweet Japanese yuzu (sometimes referred to as ponzu) soy dressing and then finished with pork and shredded seaweed. There’s a range of ramen dishes built on a savory chicken broth too.”

Meshikou opened over a decade ago at 1506 Bethel Rd. Along with authentic and creative ramen dishes, they serve Asian beers and appetizers, but it’s definitely a more ramen-forward menu. It’s the perfect place for a night out with friends.
