National smoothie chain opens Polaris location

Bringing a tropical feel to northern Columbus, a new Playa Bowls™ shop is officially open just in time for summer. Joining four other locations throughout Columbus, including one next to the Quarry Trails Metro Park, Playa Bowls Polaris has officially opened at 1515 Gemini Place.

Each Playa Bowls spot has its own unique feel, complete with neighborhood-specific art and their well-known “Welcome to Pineappleland” neon sign. The newest Polaris Playa Bowls store recently celebrated their grand opening on Saturday, May 24th, where the first 100 guests received a free smoothie bowl and merch.

Already partnering with other local brands like Pure Barre Columbus Polaris and the Polaris City BBQ for opening week prizes, this latest Playa Bowls location is ready to be a part of the Polaris community.

The new smoothie shop is now open every day from 8:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M., slinging smoothies, cold pressed juices, cold brews, and a variety of smoothie bowls with names like the “Electric Mermaid Bowl” or “Mango Goldie Bowl.” Customers can order ahead online or pop into the store for additional items, including Playa Bowl-themed merch and bagged granola to-go.

With mostly plant-based ingredients, and a variety of fresh fruit toppings, there’s something for everyone to stay healthy and beat the heat this summer!
