National travel guide calls these cheesesteaks from local sandwich shop ‘out of this world delicious’

If you’ve driven around The Arena District, you may have noticed a tiny, red walk-up window, You might want to think again before driving ahead though.

According to the national travel guide, Family Destinations, that little red building, the home of Wario’s Beef & Pork, is churning out “out of this world delicious” cheesesteaks.

“The star of the show is undoubtedly the cheesesteak, a masterpiece of thinly sliced ribeye, perfectly melted cheese, and a roll that strikes the ideal balance between crusty exterior and soft interior,” said Family Destinations.

Wario’s is a chef-driven, East-Coast inspired sandwich shop that uses fresh baked bread and high quality meats and produce to create gigantic sandwiches. “It’s the kind of sandwich that makes you close your eyes involuntarily after the first bite, just so you can focus entirely on the flavor explosion happening in your mouth,” Family Destinations said.

And it’s not just the travel guide that gave Wario’s such accolades. Guy Fieri himself recently visited the sandwich shop and said the cheesesteak was one of the best he’s ever had. “It’s another dimension,” Fieri said on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives.
