National travel guide says this Columbus restaurant serves the ‘best chicken fingers you’ll ever taste’
Turns out, chickens do have fingers, and the best ones are right here in Columbus.
According to Family Destinations Guide, a travel guide that creates “best of” lists all around the nation, the “best chicken fingers you’ll ever taste” are from The Crispy Coop, a local fried chicken joint at 1717 Northwest Blvd., and a second location in Reynoldsburg at 6330 Tussing Road.

“These aren’t the frozen, mass-produced strips you’ve reluctantly accepted elsewhere,” said Family Destinations. “These are hand-cut from whole chicken breasts, resulting in tender, juicy meat that actually resembles the bird it came from.”
The guide says the breading is delicious too, and the crunch is perfect.
The Crispy Coop offers whole chicken strips with seven different sauces to choose from. They also offer whole chicken dinners, wings, and even sides like potatoes, greens, mac & cheese, coleslaw, and more.
