This summer, you might be able to save a few bucks on your groceries after splurging on that vacation.

On July 10, a popular California-based discount grocery store, aptly named Grocery Outlet, is opening at 749 Bethel Rd., according to their Facebook.

The discount grocery store chain is known for offering brand-name items at significant price reductions – often 40% to 60% below traditional grocery stores, according to the company.

They’ll offer organic chicken, grass-fed beef, fresh seafood, cereal, produce, dairy – basically anything you’d find at a normal grocery store, but just heavily discounted.

So, how do they do it? “ With the help of our brilliant buyers who shop the world, traveling thousands of miles each year to find the most thrilling deals on brand name groceries,” said their website. “Whether it’s through packaging changes, surplus inventory or product overruns, our buyers source it all – everything from fresh meat and produce to our natural and organic NOSH items to the WOW deals we can hardly believe ourselves.”

Grocery Outlet has over 400 stores across the nation and more than 1.5 million shoppers each week, which makes it “the nation’s largest extreme value retailer,” according to their website.
