New $36 million, 123k-square-foot grocery store opens in Central Ohio this week
Starting tomorrow, you can grab deluxe cheese from Murray’s Cheese Shop, a latte from Starbucks, fresh produce, deli items, baked goods, meat, and seafood, plus sushi, your prescribed medicine, and some gas to fill up your car, all in one stop.
The newest Kroger Marketplace is opening November 14th in Powell, located at 7525 Guard Well Street. The 123,000 square foot grocery store is projected to cost around $36 million according to the company’s press release.

Prizes and giveaways will be happening all weekend long! On Friday, once the doors open, the first 300 customers will receive a $10 Kroger gift card. On Saturday, November 15th, the first 300 customers entering the new store at 8 a.m. will receive coupons for a free Kroger Brand breakfast item, including orange juice, eggs, sausage and English muffins. The coupon will be valid through Tuesday, November 18th.
